Evolve Summer 5v5 Basketball League
At Evolve we strive to improve each player’s skills as well as their understanding of the game and tactical awareness, while building our core character strengths (self-confidence, open-mindedness, industriousness, perseverance, self-reflection, ambition) and team camaraderie.
To enhance both player development and experience we have incorporated certain rules and regulations, at specific times during the season, to expose players to and best prepare them for a variety of in-game situations.
In addition to a weekly game, teams will also have a 1-hr practice. The primary focus of these practices will be to develop team chemistry as well as offensive and defensive concepts / plays to enhance team performance.
For players ages 14 and under (as of 31 July 2026)
Player evaluation day Saturday, 6 June 2026, 4-8pm
Practice and competition dates: Saturdays, 13 Jun - 8 Aug 2026 (excl. 4 July)
4pm practice and 5pm tip-off OR
6pm tip-off and 7pm practice (TBD based on team assignment)
